Description
Price recently reduced!!!
We are pleased to offer this beautiful low hour 2008 65 Marquis. The boat has been moved in summer storage at River Forest Yachting Centers of LaBelle in Moore Haven, FL.
She is the desirable skylounge model. Her option list is quite extensive. She has low hours on her twin 1500 HP MTU's that are covered by the MTU extended coverage contract good through May 10, 2020. Her lighting has been upgraded to LED lighting. Her bridge enclosure has been completely replaced. The vessel has lived the good life under this discerning owner's care, spending her summers stored in a climate controlled building, and her winters lightly cruising Florida. Her annual yard period (when she is stored indoors) creates an opportunity each year for her maintenance to be kept up to date. Her dark blue hull is striking and sophisticated and the light interior she boast is preferred by most in today's market.
Call us to schedule a showing!

Vessel walkthrough
FOUR ORRS is equipped with hydraulically actuated swim platform with teak surface. This hydraulic platform/lift is one of two storage options on this boat for a tender or jet ski. She is one of the few 65 that has the optional hydraulic lift as well as the davit on the aft portion of the bridge. The transom door provides access to the crew quarter complete with head/shower to port. Just forward of the crew quarter is access to the engine room. The engine room also can be accessed from a hatch in the aft deck. While standing on the swim platform, access is gained to the aft deck via the steps on either the port or stbd side. Once on the aft deck, you will notice the settee with upgraded high gloss wood cockpit table. On the port side of the spacious cockpit is a set of molded steps that lead to the flybridge while to STBD are controls for the engines, and bow and stern thrusters. Each side of the cockpit offers access forward. The side decks are covered in teak (approximately halfway up) with stainless steel grab rails that lead to the bow area. This owner upgraded the exterior lighting to LED recessed lights in lieu of the original lights that protrude into the walkway. The bow is complete with sun pads, optional shore power hookup, robust ground tackle, and storage.Just forward of the aft deck/cockpit is a beautiful contoured glass door that slides to port. Immediately to port of the welcoming salon is the ultra leather sofa and a table adjacent to it. To STBD is the retractable entertainment center with the upgraded 42-inch Samsung TV flanked by 2 director's chairs. The entire salon has an abundance of overhead light as well as a beautiful inlayed overhead panel design with wood feature. It is also surrounded by large windows with roll up curtains. In the aft port corner of the salon, you will find the main distribution panel. Moving from the salon forward to port is the very functional galley that is well incorporated into the flow of the boat. It has a full range of appliances including GE profile oven with 4-burner cooktop, Sharp Carousel oven, Cuisinart coffee maker, Miele dishwasher, Jenn Air refrigerator/freezer combo with icemaker, GE profile trash compactor, dual SS sink, solid surface countertops with stools, and much more. The galley sole is a solid surface/stone. Overhead lighting is ample and storage can be found in just about every place where there is not an appliance.
Across from the galley on the STBD side is a bar with a solid surface countertop. This is a highly desirable option Marquis started offering in late 2007 as the Skylounge's became the layout of choice. The early 65 Marquis' offered a table where this bar is located on this boat, (the table in the old location was described as cumbersome). The large table offered in the skylounge on this boat allows this area (that was previously used for the table) to become not only a functional bar, but also to add additional appliances and more storage. The bar on Four Orrs houses an Avanti wine cooler and a Raritan icemaker. In between the wine cooler and the icemaker is a storage locker for wine glasses with clear double doors and dedicated dinnerware storage underneath. Just aft of the bar in the salon are the beautiful Marquis spiral steps (with glass door at the top) that lead to the bridge. Forward of the bar is an optional water tight door that gives access the STBD side deck. Windows line the wall behind the bar and the lower windows have a curtain that can be rolled down.
Just forward of the galley and offset slightly to the port side is the skylounge with upgraded wood floor and 20-inch Sole TV. This area sports huge windows that bring the outside in. A large table is accented by a curved built-in settee that could seat as many as 8 guests. This area serves as a great space to start the day with a cup of coffee, but is also elegant enough to serve a fine meal to your most treasured guests. STBD of the dinette are the companionway stairs that lead down to the staterooms. The landing provides access to the forward/VIP stateroom, the day head, the guest stateroom to port which houses side-by-side twin berths, and the foyer/walkthrough to the master stateroom.
All the way forward is the VIP stateroom that features a private head and shower, port and starboard side closets with double mirrored doors, queen size bed, a mirrored head board, and 3 storage lockers on both the port and stbd sides. An upgraded 32-inch Samsung flat TV is recessed in the aft bulkhead of this stateroom. There are also port hole windows on both sides of the stateroom complete with curtains that can be rolled down for privacy. The en suite head offers solid surface countertops, vanity, and a large shower.
The port side guest stateroom has side-by-side twin berths as well as a full size hanging locker. There is a non-opening port window on the port side of the stateroom. There is also a built-in bed side table in between the beds. The entertainment center with 15-inch Sole TV is recessed into the forward port corner of the stateroom. Located in the most forward portion of this stateroom is a private door to the day head.
The master stateroom is located midship that features a foyer with storage cabinet and large mirror to port. The head of the king size bed is to port. Above the head of the master bed are three rectangular hull side windows (also only available after 2007) with roll up curtain. Bedside tables with storage below are found on both sides of the bed. There is also a safe for valuables in this stateroom. The design in the overhead accent is an excellent blend of wood, vinyl, and lighting a true example of Marquis attention to detail. Opposite of the bed to STBD is the walk-in closet with a Malber washer and dryer. This closet has a window, 2 storage lockers, and hanging rods. Next to it is a sofa followed by drawers with an upgraded 40-inch Samsung flat TV on top.
Aft of the stateroom to port and STBD are the enclosed his and hers heads. The heads are outfitted with his and hers sinks and storage below, a Tecma head, storage lockers, vanity mirror, lighting, an outboard opening port window, and large shower. The master shower is located between the heads and can be accessed from either compartment. The starboard vanity features a make-up counter with stool.
The enclosed bridge features the upgraded air conditioning option. It is our understanding that while most of the 65's were delivered a single unit on the flybridge only a few were delivered with optional second unit that is stored under the aft bar. This boat has the optional A/C. All the way forward is the fully equipped helm completed with upgraded twin STIDD captain's chairs, Raymarine ST70, (2) Raymarine G-series monitors, Raymarine ST8002 autopilot, Voyager display, VHF units, Ritchie compass, and other navigational aids. To port, just aft of the twin STIDD chairs is the wet bar with sink, and countertops with stools. To STBD is a large curved settee with table. To STBD aft corner is the 20-inch Sole flat TV for entertainment. The aft bridge is outside of the enclosed bridge that provides an additional space for your guest. It has Nautical Structures Tech 1000 davit and is surrounded by stainless steel grab rails for safety. The aft bridge also boast a custom console that houses the double electric grills, and refrigeration below. Thus, allowing you to use the grill without removing all of the canvas like you have to do when the grills are placed inside the bridge enclosure on the wet bar.
